  CONSIGNMENT INFORMATION

  Consignment Policy

Housewalk Furniture inspects all items before they are brought in so that only the finest make it to the showroom floor. To be accepted for consignment, an item must be in excellent, like new condition. After the in-house, pre-consignment inspection, a sell price will be determined.

If the item is on the floor for over 30 days the sell price will be reduced by 10% and will be reduced every 30 days after that. The contract has a term of three months. If the item is still on the floor after the contract has expired the consignor must either take it back or have it donated. If Housewalk gets no response from the consignor after the contract has expired the pieces will be considered abandoned.

If the consignor cannot deliver goods to Housewalk, Housewalk will provide transportation for a fee to be determined at time of in-home inspection.
